The second technical foul given to Crescenta Valley High girls' basketball player Cassie Pappas on Friday has been rescinded, according to Crescenta Valley girls' Athletic Director Peter Kim.
Pappas was first given a technical foul for arguing with an official with 5:33 left in the fourth quarter of Crescenta Valley's 60-41 Pacific League road win against Glendale.
The senior guard, who is a reigning All-Area first-team member, was immediately given a second technical foul for again arguing with an official.
A double-technical foul results in an automatic one-game suspension.
However, Kim said Crescenta Valley appealed the second technical with the referee assigners on Monday.
The assigner agreed to take away the latter technical.
Pappas is scheduled to compete in Tuesday''s league road game against Burbank.
