County officials: Residents must move cars in burn areas

In the wake of Saturday's debris flows that damaged dozens of cars, the Foothill Incident Unified Command this afternoon warned residents to move their cars off residential streets in burn areas. In a statement released earlier this afternoon, officials announced they would tow any cars left on affected streets, which include:
  • La Cañada Flintridge: Bigbriar Way, Bristow Drive, Castle Knoll Road, Derwood Drive, Earnslow Drive, Escalante Drive, Fairhurst Drive, Halls Canyon Road, Harter Lane, Haskell Street east of Mountain Meadow Lane, High Rim Drive, Jessen Drive north of Solliden Lane, La Cañada Boulevard north of Del Valle, La Forest Drive, Lampost Lane, Los Amigos, Manistee Drive, Normanton Drive, Ocean View Boulevard north of Foothill; Rock Castle Drive and Vista del Valle Road.
  • La Crescenta: Canyonside Road, Freeman Avenue north of Terrace Drive, Irving Avenue, Jayma Lane, Manzanita Street, Markridge Road west of Cloudcrest, Maurice Avenue, Pennsylvania Avenue north of El Caminito, Pineglen Road, Pinelawn Drive west of Pinecone and Pineridge Drive east of #5327 Pineridge.
Call the Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station at (818) 248-3464 for the location of your vehicle if towed.
