Pacific League girls’ water polo tournament starts this week

The Pacific League girls' water polo Tournament will be held Tuesday and Thursday at Burbank High School. The top four teams are Crescenta Valley, Pasadena, Burbank and Burroughs. The teams have already earned spots in the CIF Southern Section Division IV playoffs, which will begin next week. Crescenta Valley is the top seed, followed by Pasadena, Burbank and Burroughs. Glendale, Hoover and Arcadia will take part in consolation matches. The tournament will kick off Tuesday with Glendale meeting Arcadia at 3 p.m., followed by Pasadena against Burbank at 4, and Crescenta Valley against Burroughs at 5. Hoover will meet the winner of the Arcadia-Glendale match at 3 p.m. Thursday. The third-place match will start at 4 p.m., and the championship game will be held at 5.
