A 28-year-old Burbank resident with prior arrests for sexual assault and narcotics offenses was taken into custody after officers linked him to an ankle-monitoring device found aboard a commuter bus, authorities said. Jonathan Schwartz, considered a “parolee at large” and a danger to the community, was arrested about 6:30 p.m. Saturday in the 900 block of West Angeleno Avenue, Burbank police Sgt. Robert Quesada said. Officers on Friday received information that Schwartz was seen aboard the bus acting suspiciously; a cut ankle-monitoring device was later found by a passenger. Schwartz was arrested 10 years ago at 1110 West Alameda Ave. and charged with the attempted rape of a woman entering the Pavilions supermarket bathroom, authorities said. He pleaded to sexual battery, Quesada said.
