A 22-year-old man was arrested Wednesday after he threatened another man at knife point in the 100 block of East Palm Avenue, according to police. Matthiu Sumida, 22, was walking with an unnamed woman when he began yelling and abusing her verbally, Burbank police Sgt. Robert Quesada said. The argument was interrupted by a bystander who feared that Sumida was going to assault the woman, Quesada said. Sumida allegedly threatened to cut the man, who then had a witness call police. Officers arrived and found Sumida fleeing the scene. He was pulled over and arrested for making terrorist threats and assault with a deadly weapon, Quesada said.
