Woman runs naked on Foothill Boulevard

A woman was detained and taken to Verdugo Hills Hospital at 9:30 a.m. on Monday after running around Foothill Boulevard naked, authorities said. Several passing motorists reported the woman, who was on Rosemont Avenue and Prospect Avenue in La Crescenta, before she was found by sheriff's deputies on Foothill Boulevard and Briggs Avenue, authorities said. "She made her way down to Foothill Boulevard [from Rosemont]," said Lt. Greg Sisneros with the Crescenta Valley Sheriff's Station.  "That's when the sheriff's station caught up with her." Deputies then wrapped her in a coat and sat her in the back seat of a station vehicle, Sinseros added. "From there, she was taken to Verdugo Hills Hospital for medical and psychological evaluation," Sisneros said.
