Train versus car, but no injuries

2:29 pm, Oct 31st, 2009 Written by Max Zimbert thoughts Add a Comment
A Mazda allegedly stalled on train tracks at Chevy Chase Drive and San Fernando Road, police said. The accident is very close to the spot where 11 people were killed in the 2005 Metrolink crash, police said. Three people were in the car, but they had left the Mazda before it was demolished by a freight train. Police said the driver and passengers panicked as the warning lights flashed for an incoming train. The tracks are closed while safety officials conduct an investigation.
